Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth through mentoring, athletics, and educational programs. Their mission is to set young people up for success in life by providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.

The Challenge

When we started our work together, Memphis Athletic Ministries faced several significant challenges:

  • MAM was running several campaigns simultaneously, each with its own focus—seeking donors, volunteers, and vendors. These multiple calls to action were leading to fragmented communication and inconsistent engagement with their audience.

  • Staff struggled to share event updates, potential stories, and other crucial information across the organization in a streamlined way, leading to missed marketing opportunities.

  • MAM found it challenging to create effective follow-up systems for interested parties—whether they were donors, volunteers, or partners—resulting in lost momentum after initial contact.

  • After losing a significant funder this year, MAM recognized the need for a more strategic approach to turn their marketing efforts into financial contributions. They were missing key elements that could bring their marketing strategies together into a cohesive whole.

Comprehensive Brand Messaging Document

We developed an impactful brand messaging document that aligns all of MAM’s efforts under a unified mission. This messaging framework serves as a guiding light for the organization, helping them maintain consistency across all campaigns and communications.

The document provides:

  • Calls to action tailored to different audiences

Social Media Strategy & Content Calendar

To streamline their efforts, we created a year-long social media strategy and content calendar. This provides MAM with a structured approach for communicating their various initiatives in an organized, cohesive manner, ensuring:
